All Jadrolinija ferries and catamarans to Šipan, Lopud, Koločep, Mljet and Korčula leave from the Gruž port terminal on Obala pape Ivana Pavla II, not from the Old Town. Tickets are sold at the terminal counter or online through Jadrolinija, and it is worth arriving 20 minutes early in July and August when queues build. The international ferry to Bari departs from the same terminal on a separate schedule. From the harbour, the ferry terminal is a 5 minute walk — no taxi, no bus — and a bus to the walls runs every ten minutes. A 2 km harbour loop through old Gruž starts at the fish market.
