Pašman. The village of Pašman, on the east coast, is the island's administrative centre and has a peaceful harbour, a few shops, and a long tradition of fishing and farming.

Kraj. Kraj is a small settlement on the south coast, known for its quiet coves and proximity to the sandy beach at Lučina.

Getting there and around

To reach Pašman, take a ferry from Biograd na Moru to Tkon; the crossing is short and runs frequently in season. Alternatively, drive from Zadar to Ugljan via the ferry to Preko, then cross the bridge at Ždrelac. Once on the island, local roads connect the main settlements, and buses or taxis can be arranged, but having a car or bicycle gives you the most flexibility to explore the coves and villages. The island is also connected by regular boat lines to Zadar and other islands in the archipelago.

When to go

The best time to visit Pašman is from late spring to early autumn, when the sea is warm enough for swimming and the weather is generally sunny.
