About Cibaca

Cibaca itself is a peaceful place, with a scattering of houses, farm buildings, and small family-run accommodations. Visitors come here to experience the slower pace of the Croatian countryside, to cycle or walk along the flat paths between orchards, and to explore the wetlands and birdlife of the delta. The Neretva River, which flows nearby, is central to the local identity, supporting fishing, farming, and a distinctive culinary tradition based on freshwater fish and locally grown produce.

While Cibaca is not a major tourist centre, it offers a genuine taste of Dalmatian hinterland life. The nearest coastal towns and the city of Dubrovnik are within driving distance, making it a possible base for exploring the wider region. The accommodations listed on our site include several apartments and villas, often with gardens or views over the surrounding fields.
