About Brodarica

The area is divided into several smaller parts, including the centre of Brodarica, the hamlet of Krapanj across a narrow channel, and the elevated neighbourhoods of Gornja Brodarica. The Franciscan monastery and the Church of St. John the Baptist are landmarks in the centre. Brodarica serves as a quieter base for exploring the Dalmatian coast, with Šibenik's UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral and the Krka National Park within easy reach. The island of Krapanj is connected by a short bridge and is known for its long tradition of sponge diving and olive growing.
