Buses run along the coast between Rijeka and Crikvenica, stopping in Jadranovo. There is no train station in the village. Getting around is easiest by car or bicycle, as the village is spread out along the coast and hillside. Local buses are available but infrequent. Taxis can be called from Crikvenica or Rijeka. Walking is pleasant along the waterfront, but some areas are hilly.

When to go

The best time to visit Jadranovo is from June to September, when the weather is warm and the sea is suitable for swimming. July and August are the busiest months, with many visitors from Croatia and neighboring countries. May, June, and September offer milder temperatures and fewer crowds, ideal for those who prefer a quieter experience. Winter is mild but can be rainy, and many seasonal businesses close. The sea temperature is warmest in August, but pleasant from June through October.
