Bol is on the island of Brač. The main route is by ferry from Split to Supetar, then by car or bus across the island to Bol. There is also a catamaran line from Split to Bol in the summer season. Brač Airport is near Bol, with seasonal flights. On the island, local buses connect Bol with Supetar and other villages. Within Bol, most places are within walking distance, and taxis and rental cars are available. Dubrovnik is far to the southeast; reaching Bol from Dubrovnik involves a long drive through Neum and then a ferry or a catamaran.
